Breanna Young, PA-C, earned her undergraduate degree in Physiology from the University of Wyoming and a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ. The first part of her career was spent working in an outpatient endocrinology clinic in Carson City, NV. She is excited to move to Colorado and begin working with Intermountain Health. Breanna is interested in Type 1 diabetes, diabetes technology, and diabetes during pregnancy. She prides herself on providing individualized care to people with diabetes and giving them the tools to feel empowered in their own diabetes management. “Education, communication, adequate time, and respect are the most important things for patients to feel empowered and involved in their care and treatment plan.” Breanna loves going on walks with her husband and their dog, Rosie. She enjoys reading, hiking, backpacking, crocheting, baking, and journaling when not working.
