Ms Naomi

Hi! I am the owner of The Goddard School in Arvada. I have been part of this Goddard Family since 2011. Over the years I held various roles including Classroom Teacher, Curriculum Coordinator, Director, and Executive Director. My passion has always been to work with young children. I received my BA in Liberal Studies, focusing on Education and Ethnic Studies, from the University of California, Riverside and my Director’s Certificate from Front Range Community College. I most recently completed a Masters’ Certificate as part of the Buell Early Childhood Leadership Program at CU Denver and am currently working towards completing my masters in Early Childhood Education. I value education and have learned a lot, but what has always stood out is the importance of cultivating community, which is at the heart of what we do.

Hi! I would like to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Emma Phillips and I am thrilled to be a part of the Goddard family. I was born and raised in Illinois but have always had a love for Colorado. I took the plunge and moved to Breckenridge Colorado in 2010. After 7 years in the mountains, I had enough snow and tourists, and relocated to the Arvada/Westminster area in May of 2017. I graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies in 2015. I have also held my Directors License in the state of Colorado since 2014. I have worked in the early childhood field since 2009 and have loved every moment. I have a true passion for young children and the early childhood field as a whole. I have enjoyed all the experiences, moments and connections I make at the Goddard school of Arvada.

I have been with Goddard since 2019. I began in our toddler rooms and worked in our Pre-K room for two years. I became a teacher to make learning a fun and safe environment. I am currently working towards my Bachelors in Education at the Community College of Denver. A fun fact about me is that I am a Colorado Native. I am also a happy mama to two puppy dogs and one stubborn kitty!

Hey there! I'm Ms. Ashley, I was born and raised here in Arvada. I have my own little boy who's name is Carsen, born September 2023. I've been working at since the beginning of 2020. I've always had a passion for working with children, even at a young age I knew that this is what I was meant to do. It means so much to be a part of their journey and support them when they need it most! I'm so thrilled to be back on the Goddard team and I'm looking forward to getting to know these kiddos and their families!

I am new to Goddard, but have always been passionate about education. I became a teacher because I enjoy seeing kids thrive in great learning environments. I enjoy learning from the kids as well. I am currently working towards my bachelors at Colorado State University. I was born and raised in Denver. I love to travel and read. I also have a wooly husky that is 4 years old.

I have been with Goddard since 2022. I became a teacher because I love working with kids. I want to demonstrate a positive bright environment for kids to thrive in. Outside of work I love hiking, being outdoors and playing volleyball. I also enjoy hanging out with friends and traveling.

Hi! I have been with Goddard for almost 2 years! It’s been amazing working with the Goddard community! I have been working with children since 2016! Current enrolled at MSU for BA Human Development and Family studies and BS of psychology with a focus of Early childhood. My goal is to have my MBA for education. This spring I became a new mom! On my free time I enjoy the outdoors and spending time with family.

I have been in the field of Early Childhood for 30+ years and began at Goddard in October 2011. In 1990 I worked with a child who had special needs in a foster home. That child changed my direction and made me want to get a degree in ECE with special needs classes. I include sign language in the classroom. I first learned ASL when I worked in the deaf ed preschools through Aurora Public Schools for 6 years.

I have been at The Goddard School of Arvada since September 2015. Over the years I have spent most of my time in the infant and toddler classrooms as well as one school year as the Assistant Director. I discovered my passion for working with children after having my son in August of 2014. I find the most joy while working in the classroom, directly with the children and getting to be a part of their growth and development in their early childhood journey. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my son, Braden, and our two pets; our cat, Snowball and our dog, Orion. We enjoy family time, being outside, and watching movies together.

I have been with Goddard since April 2023. I have always loved being around kids. My mom was a teacher which inspired me to become a teacher as well. My goal is to become a director of a childcare center in the future.

I’ve been with Goddard since 2021. I have loved working with kids since I was younger. The early years are so fun and important for children. I really enjoy teaching because I am able to help children grow and get to see their joy when reaching goals and mastering skills. I have two kids of my own. Outside of work I love to play video games and do photography. I’m excited to build a relationship with you all!

I have been with Goddard since November 2020. I have worked in the infant room since starting here and during that time I qualified to become our Infant Nursery Supervisor. I have three brothers and lots of nieces and nephews. Outside of work I enjoy being outside with friends, family and my cats.

I started at Goddard and early childhood in August 2023. I became a teacher because early childhood is such a crucial time in life and I wanted to be a part of that discovery process for our friends. I feel that play is the most important way that children learn and strive to incorporate it as much as possible into our daily activities. In addition I actively keep the spirit and tone of the classroom playful.

I have worked in early childhood since 2009 and joined Goddard in June 2023. What keeps me in Early childhood is the connections I make with children, families and our communities. Assisting in regulation and coregulation of emotions is a passion of mine. I have three cats and two kiddos and love to sing, dance, swim and be silly. I am also non binary and my pronouns are they/them.

Hi! My name is Sarah. I’m so excited to have the opportunity to work on the team here at The Goddard School. I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley. There I majored in elementary education, minored in special education, and completed an English as a second language concentration. I think that teaching is the best career in the whole world. I was born in Denver, Colorado and grew up in Westminster. In my spare time I like to hike when the weather is warm, and I love to snowboard during the winter. Spending time with my friends is also another one of my favorite activities. Overall, I really enjoy spending time around children and I want to do everything I can to help them be successful learners!

I have been with Goddard for two years. I started my Goddard journey while still in high school and moved into a full time teaching role once I graduated. I have always loved working with kids. After working in early childhood, my next goal is to go to nursing school.

HiI am new to Goddard . I chose to work with kids because I used to volunteer at another preschool center as a dual enrollment student while in high school as I was getting my certification as an early childhood assistant teacher in college and I really enjoyed it since I had some great experiences there and a specific experience that i had with a little boy and little girl sparked my joy for wanting to continue working in childcare and outside of work i have lots of family members so i enjoy spending quality time with them on the weekends or listening to music of all types of genres and reading.

I have worked in Early Childhood and Goddard since September 2023. I became a teacher so that I could engage in the school setting alongside my son. I am a mother of an 11 year old and 4 year old. I love spending time with them and my husband. As a family we enjoy shopping, family vacations and spending time with our large extended family.

I have been in at Goddard since September 2023. After babysitting as a teenager I decided to expand my career and become a teacher. I really enjoy being around children and seeing the different types of personalities they have as well as watching them develop. I have 2 dogs named Cherry and Arlo and I like to take them for walks or play with them. I enjoy going to the lake and paddleboarding or just being around nature.
